What is different about moving to Iran?
Extensive international sanctions affect shipping, insurance, banking and payment. Most international carriers and insurers decline this corridor.
Why we will not simply quote Iran
Bandar Abbas is geographically close to the UAE, which makes the constraint legal rather than logistical. We do not quote this destination from a price list. Tell us what you need to move and we will run a compliance check with our freight forwarders and come back with either a route that genuinely works, with the conditions written down, or a clear no. A shipment refused mid-route leaves your belongings somewhere neither of us controls.
Documents you need
- Compliance review — Completed before anything else. Sanctions, carrier and insurer position are checked first.
- Passport copy — Photo page, plus the UAE residence visa and exit stamp.
- Itemised and valued packing list — The document customs actually reads. We produce it as the goods are packed.
Shipping a vehicle
Vehicle export to Iran is not something we can quote as a normal service. The UAE export certificate and deregistration would apply as they do anywhere, but whether the vehicle can lawfully and practically reach Iran depends on the current sanctions and carrier position, which we check case by case.
Taking pets
Pet relocation to Iran is assessed case by case alongside the wider compliance review. Airline willingness to carry live animals on these routes changes frequently and is the usual constraint rather than the veterinary paperwork.

What affects the price

The distance is trivial; the constraint is legal and financial. Sanctions affect carriers, insurers and payment channels, so proximity does not translate into a service we can lawfully and reliably provide.

What are my alternatives if the move is not possible?
Storage in Dubai until conditions change is the most common answer, billed on the cubic metres you actually occupy rather than a fixed unit size. Shipping to a third country where you have family is sometimes viable. We will tell you which applies rather than leaving you to guess.
Will you take the booking and try anyway?
No. A shipment refused mid-route leaves your belongings stranded somewhere neither of us controls, and insurance will not respond. We either find a route that genuinely works and write the conditions down, or we tell you plainly that it cannot be done.
Customs, vehicle and pet import rules change, and transit bands are corridor averages rather than promises. We confirm what applies to your shipment in writing before booking.
