Movers in Dubai

In short

We move villas, apartments, offices and warehouses across every Dubai community, from Jumeirah and Arabian Ranches to Business Bay and Al Quoz. Most towers require a service lift booking and a move permit from building management, typically three to five working days ahead, and we arrange both as part of the job.

Dubai is the emirate where access rules vary most from one street to the next. A move in a Marina tower, a Ranches villa and an Al Quoz warehouse are three different jobs with three different sets of constraints, and the quote only holds if the right one was surveyed.

Building move permits

Most residential towers require written approval from building management before a move, usually with the tenancy contract, the mover's trade licence and proof of insurance attached. Lead times of three to five working days are common, and many buildings also hold a refundable deposit against damage to lifts and common areas.

Community gate passes

Gated villa communities issue a gate pass for the vehicle and often cap the truck size admitted. Some restrict moving to weekday daytime hours only. We confirm the specific community rule at survey, because a truck turned away at a gate wastes the entire slot.

Free zone and industrial areas

Al Quoz, DIP, JAFZA and Dubai South operate their own access control. Zone gate passes are needed for vehicles and sometimes for individual crew members, and moving bonded or customs-controlled goods between a free zone and the mainland follows customs procedures that must be lodged before the trucks arrive.

Frequently asked questions

How much does moving within Dubai cost?

It depends on volume and access rather than distance, since most Dubai moves are under 40 kilometres. A surveyor measures the load in cubic metres, checks lift availability and the walk from the loading bay, and issues a fixed written price before you commit.

Which Dubai buildings need a move permit?

Nearly all managed residential towers and gated communities. Older low-rise buildings in Deira and Bur Dubai often do not. Tell us the building name when you book and we will confirm what it requires and obtain it for you.

Can you move between Dubai and other emirates?

Yes, we cover all seven emirates. Dubai to Abu Dhabi or Sharjah is routine and usually a single-day job; Fujairah and the northern emirates add driving time and are often scheduled as an early start.

Do you work on Fridays in Dubai?

Yes, subject to the building. Many Dubai towers restrict moving on Friday afternoons around prayer times, and some prohibit weekend moves entirely. We check your building's rule rather than assuming.

Do you have storage in Dubai?

Yes, a racked warehouse where goods are inventoried on the way in and kept off the floor. It is most often used for the gap between one tenancy ending and the next beginning, and is billed on the cubic metres you occupy.
