Local movers across all seven emirates

In short

We move villas, apartments, offices and warehouses anywhere in the UAE. A surveyor confirms volume and access first, then a uniformed crew packs, wraps, dismantles, transports and reassembles. Most apartment moves finish in a single day; villas usually take one to two days depending on size and lift access.

A move inside the UAE looks simple until you hit the details: the tower that only allows moves between 9am and 5pm, the community that stops a 3-ton truck at the gate, the service lift that has to be booked five days ahead. We handle those details as part of the job, not as surprises on the day.

How long does a local move take?

A studio or one-bedroom apartment is normally a half-day job with a crew of three. A two to three-bedroom apartment takes most of a day. A four-bedroom villa usually runs one full day for packing and a second for moving and reassembly. The variable that changes this most is not the size of the home but the access: a tower with one bookable service lift and a 30-metre walk from the loading bay can add three hours to an otherwise ordinary move.

Do I need a moving permit?

In most gated communities and residential towers, yes. The permit is issued by the building management or the community developer, not by the government, and it is normally free. What it costs you is time: some towers want the request five working days ahead, along with a copy of the tenancy contract, the mover's trade licence and proof of insurance. We prepare and submit that paperwork as part of the job, which is why we ask for your building name at the survey rather than on moving day.

What should I do before the crew arrives?

Keep passports, documents, jewellery, medication and laptops with you rather than in the truck. Empty and defrost the fridge the night before so it can travel dry. Decide in advance which items are not moving — a sofa you are selling or a wardrobe staying with the landlord — and label them clearly, because an unlabelled item is an item that gets loaded. If you have booked a service lift slot, tell us the exact window so the crew can sequence the load around it.

Frequently asked questions

How much do movers cost in Dubai?

Price depends on volume, access and how much packing you want, so we quote after a free survey rather than over the phone. A surveyor measures the load in cubic metres, checks the lift and parking, and gives you a fixed written price. That way the number you are given on day one is the number you pay.

Do you move on Fridays and public holidays?

Yes, though many buildings restrict moving on Friday afternoons and during public holidays, and some ban it outright. We check your building's rules when we survey. Where a weekend slot is allowed, expect it to cost more than the equivalent weekday slot because crews are on premium hours.

Are my belongings covered if something breaks?

Goods are covered while they are in our vehicles and in our crew's hands. Cover levels and exclusions differ by the type of move and the declared value, so ask your surveyor to confirm in writing what applies to your job before you sign. Items you pack yourself are generally treated differently from items our crew packs.

Can you store my things between two tenancies?

Yes. A gap between a move-out and a move-in is one of the most common reasons people use our warehouse. Goods are inventoried on the way in, stored on racking rather than on the floor, and released on the date you give us. Short gaps of a week or two are billed differently from long-term storage.

Do you dismantle and reassemble furniture?

Yes, and it is included rather than an extra. Beds, wardrobes, dining tables and office desks are dismantled at the origin and rebuilt at the destination. Fittings are bagged and taped to the piece they belong to, which is the step that stops a wardrobe arriving without its shelf pins.

How far in advance should I book?

Two weeks is comfortable for a normal weekday move. Book earlier for the end of a month, the end of a school term and the weeks around Ramadan and the summer exodus, when demand rises sharply. If your building needs a service lift booking, that lead time usually matters more than ours.
